SALVATION ,TRANSFORMATION AND FULFILLMENT IN CHRIST 1
The main purpose of Christ coming to world is to save man from the bondage of sin and death by sin.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Matthew 18:11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
Mark 10:45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Luke 9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
This is the message from the Old Testament spoken in shadows by both the laws and the prophets.
The challenge many Christians are having is that they have not gotten the message of the bible.
The message of the bible is the most important part of our relationship with God. If we do not have the message we will continue to be tossed around by every wind of doctrines.
The salvation of man couldn't be delivered by the Jewish laws because no single law could give life.
Galatians 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of God? God forbid: π·for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law.
Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
Galatians 3:12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
The laws were all pointing men to condemnation. So man could not establish a perfect relationship with God on the substratum of the laws....it had to be through faith in Christ
Romans 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight:π· for by the law is the knowledge of sin.:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; :22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: π·23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
Christ came to lay a fresh foundation that man could stand and relate and live in God forever. The whole judgment of the laws on man was laid upon Christ so that man could be saved by grace through faith in Christ.
Galatians 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
1 Peter 2:24-25 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
It is not by obedience to Jewish laws but by grace through faith. It believing in our hearts and confessing Christ with our mouths.
✔Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
π 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Our salvation is not by works of the law.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Thank you Jesus.
