SALVATION ,TRANSFORMATION AND FULFILLMENT IN CHRIST 2

Bill Hull Quote: “The evidence of salvation is living a life of transformation.”

Receiving salvation by grace through faith in Christ ( ALONE) is the first step that we take in our relationship with God.

✔Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

✔Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

I dealt with salvation in the 1 part of this epistles so that we should understand this stage of transformation. If we do not understand salvation , it will be difficult for us to understand transformation. So I advise us to read and digest both.

Today, I want to talk about ;

🍍 TRANSFORMATION.

Transformation is the changes men see in us as a result on the mind renewal we daily undergo by studying, fellowshiping and meditation on the word of God. Unlike salvation that we do not get by works, transformation comes by our conscious works on our minds. Many of us do not allow the word of God take charge of our minds even when we boldly see the truth in Christ there in.
Transformation is not a work of the law but it is a work on the mind. There is no transformation without salvation. It does not come by academic qualifications. It comes by revelation by the Holy Spirit.

✔Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 🌏:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Only the word of God can renew the mind. The mind is corrupt by name and it doesn't take a steady state. It takes the shape of the dominant force or thought. That is why it needs a daily renewal to remain in tune with the realities in Christ.
Believing in Christ and confessing him with the mouth fertilizes the mind to be ready for renewal. It is renewed with the knowledge of Christ so that we can be and do more of Christ's nature in us.

✔Romans 10:9 -10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

It is during transformation that bad habits are dropped, works of the flesh overcome, gift of the Holy Spirit harnessed and voice of the Holy Spirit louder.
Any Christian who do not renew the mind remains carnal. It does not matter how long or religious the person has been.
Christ came to give us salvation free so that we get transformed by our commitment to the foundation he laid for man.
May God help us as we embrace the realities in Christ.

Amen
