WE LIVE BY GRACE IN CHRIST
There is big difference between living by the law and living by grace. Christ did not come that we might recieve eternal laws. He came that we might recieve eternal life through faith in Him. The law was weak through the flesh but grace brought strength to carry out divinite assignments in the flesh. That strength is eternal life. The law could not provide strength. It had no life.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
The law could not make man perfect but grace perfected man in the flesh....those who believe in Christ.
Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Hebrews 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
Knowing that God's plan for man was to bring man into a perfect relationship with Himself by grace though faith in Christ in due time first preached the Gospel to Abraham.
Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
Galatians 3:6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Romans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
We should not go back to depending on what God had fulfilled through Christ"s death burial and resurrection so that grace be made available for all men to be made perfect in him through faith in Christ.
Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
The journey of the New Creation starts from grace and ends in grace. Trying to justify the New Creation by works of the law is making mockery of the Gospel of Christ It does not matter how and where it is presented. We should shift our focus from the laws and concentrate on the grace. we have to live by the standard God initiated through Christ"s death, burial and resurrection.
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Galatians 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.
Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
Beloved, the law was a school master to keep the Jews until Christ came
Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(Galatians 3:25 -27 )But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Let us see something that James wrote that many preachers misinterprete
James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
James 2:18
[18]Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith; others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”NLT
Here James is talking about works of faith not the works of the law. The works done through faith in Christ that justify our belief in Christ and who we are in Christ. Our faith shouldn't produce bad works. Works of the flesh are bad works.
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
The works of faith manifest through the fruit of the Spirit. We cannot say we are new Creation without bearing the fruit of the Spirit which ONLY the new Creation can do. An unbeliever cannot produce the fruit of the spirit because they are spiritually inactive.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Our faith works through the manifestation of fruit of the spirit. This is what makes the difference between the New Creation and other people operating with other faith systems
Our faith works by love .It is for doing good not evil, condemnation and judgments.
Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
Galatians 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
Brothers and sisters let us look unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith .Jesus is not the author and Moees,Elijah ,an Angel or any saint the finisher.
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The law could not save man but grace did, Hallelujah
Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Thank you Jesus
