    IT IS NOT THE WILL OF GOD FOR ANY MAN TO PERISH

Ignorance has been a major barrier in man’s work with God. There was something that Enoch knew that made him distinct that God took him without seeing death before Christ manifested in the flesh.

 GEN 5:24 AND ENOCH WALKED WITH GOD: AND HE WAS NOT; FOR GOD TOOK HIM.

There are many things to know in other to have a balanced relationship with God. Many die because they do not value knowledge. Many are where they are today because they do not care to know something different to grow in the knowledge of Christ.

In the Old Testament many perished because of lack of the knowledge of the law and how it worked for the Jews

HOSES 4: 6 ¶ MY PEOPLE ARE DESTROYED FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE: BECAUSE THOU HAST REJECTED KNOWLEDGE, I WILL ALSO REJECT THEE, THAT THOU SHALT BE NO PRIEST TO ME: SEEING THOU HAST FORGOTTEN THE LAW OF THY GOD, I WILL ALSO FORGET THY CHILDREN.

ISAIAH 5: 13 THEREFORE MY PEOPLE ARE GONE INTO CAPTIVITY, BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE: AND THEIR HONOURABLE MEN ARE FAMISHED, AND THEIR MULTITUDE DRIED UP WITH THIRST

II was either they became vulnerable to the will of their enemies because the disobeyed the laws given by Moses under the influence of angels or they fall by a plague

ACTS 7: 35 THIS MOSES WHOM THEY REFUSED, SAYING, WHO MADE THEE A RULER AND A JUDGE? THE SAME DID GOD SEND TO BE A RULER AND A DELIVERER BY THE HAND OF THE ANGEL WHICH APPEARED TO HIM IN THE BUSH

ACTS 7: 53 WHO HAVE RECEIVED THE LAW BY THE DISPOSITION OF ANGELS, AND HAVE NOT KEPT IT

. That was why Joshua was told to keep the laws in the head. To do exactly what is in the laws as a prerequisite for success.

JOSHUA 1: 8 THIS BOOK OF THE LAW SHALL NOT DEPART OUT OF THY MOUTH; BUT THOU SHALT MEDITATE THEREIN DAY AND NIGHT, THAT THOU MAYEST OBSERVE TO DO ACCORDING TO ALL THAT IS WRITTEN THEREIN: FOR THEN THOU SHALT MAKE THY WAY PROSPEROUS, AND THEN THOU SHALT HAVE GOOD SUCCESS.

Even the Children of Israel was told never to neglect the laws to attain to the level of blessings that God has prepared for them.

DEUT 28: 1-4

1 ¶ AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS, IF THOU SHALT HEARKEN DILIGENTLY UNTO THE VOICE OF THE LORD THY GOD, TO OBSERVE AND TO DO ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS WHICH I COMMAND THEE THIS DAY, THAT THE LORD THY GOD WILL SET THEE ON HIGH ABOVE ALL NATIONS OF THE EARTH:

2 AND ALL THESE BLESSINGS SHALL COME ON THEE, AND OVERTAKE THEE, IF THOU SHALT HEARKEN UNTO THE VOICE OF THE LORD THY GOD.

3 BLESSED SHALT THOU BE IN THE CITY, AND BLESSED SHALT THOU BE IN THE FIELD.

4 BLESSED SHALL BE THE FRUIT OF THY BODY, AND THE FRUIT OF THY GROUND, AND THE FRUIT OF THY CATTLE, THE INCREASE OF THY KINE, AND THE FLOCKS OF THY SHEEP.

But the knowledge of the law never made anything perfect because the law never made anything perfect neither did it bring a perfect blessing because a condition was attached to everything. So it was a blessing by works.

HEB 7:19 FOR THE LAW MADE NOTHING PERFECT, BUT THE BRINGING IN OF A BETTER HOPE DID; BY THE WHICH WE DRAW NIGH UNTO GOD.

HEB 10:1 ¶ FOR THE LAW HAVING A SHADOW OF GOOD THINGS TO COME, AND NOT THE VERY IMAGE OF THE THINGS, CAN NEVER WITH THOSE SACRIFICES WHICH THEY OFFERED YEAR BY YEAR CONTINUALLY MAKE THE COMERS THEREUNTO PERFECT.

Christ came to bring perfection to man through a perfect sacrifice so that we have a perfect knowledge and live perfect lives through the knowledge of Christ who made us perfect in Him.

HEB 2:10 ¶ FOR IT BECAME HIM, FOR WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, AND BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, IN BRINGING MANY SONS UNTO GLORY, TO MAKE THE CAPTAIN OF THEIR SALVATION PERFECT THROUGH SUFFERINGS.

HEB 5:9 AND BEING MADE PERFECT, HE BECAME THE AUTHOR OF ETERNAL SALVATION UNTO ALL THEM THAT OBEY HIM;

HEB 10:14 FOR BY ONE OFFERING HE HATH PERFECTED FOR EVER THEM THAT ARE SANCTIFIED.

Today many reject Christ because they do not like the Gospel. They are wise in their own eyes because their arrogance have kept them in ignorance. Anybody who rejects the truth in Christ lacks knowledge and will perish for lack of that knowledge It is the rejection of the truth in Christ through unbelief that will make many perish because the enemy has deceived you through the vainness and emptiness of the things of this world in the mind

2COR 4: 4 IN WHOM THE GOD OF THIS WORLD HATH BLINDED THE MINDS OF THEM WHICH BELIEVE NOT, LEST THE LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF GOD, SHOULD SHINE UNTO THEM.

EPH 4: 17 ¶ THIS I SAY THEREFORE, AND TESTIFY IN THE LORD, THAT YE HENCEFORTH WALK NOT AS OTHER GENTILES WALK, IN THE VANITY OF THEIR MIND,18 HAVING THE UNDERSTANDING DARKENED, BEING ALIENATED FROM THE LIFE OF GOD THROUGH THE IGNORANCE THAT IS IN THEM, BECAUSE OF THE BLINDNESS OF THEIR HEART:

 

HEB 2: 2 FOR IF THE WORD SPOKEN BY ANGELS WAS STEDFAST, AND EVERY TRANSGRESSION AND DISOBEDIENCE RECEIVED A JUST RECOMPENCE OF REWARD; 3 HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE, IF WE NEGLECT SO GREAT SALVATION; WHICH AT THE FIRST BEGAN TO BE SPOKEN BY THE LORD, AND WAS CONFIRMED UNTO US BY THEM THAT HEARD HIM

(HEB 10: 28-29) 28 HE THAT DESPISED MOSES' LAW DIED WITHOUT MERCY UNDER TWO OR THREE WITNESSES:29 OF HOW MUCH SORER PUNISHMENT, SUPPOSE YE, SHALL HE BE THOUGHT WORTHY, WHO HATH TRODDEN UNDER FOOT THE SON OF GOD, AND HATH COUNTED THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT, WHEREWITH HE WAS SANCTIFIED, AN UNHOLY THING, AND HATH DONE DESPITE UNTO THE SPIRIT OF GRACE?

Any opportunity you have to hear the Gospel is a big opportunity no matter how and whom it comes from. It is the ONLY sure way out of destruction. There in is the just made perfect.

AC 17:30 AND THE TIMES OF THIS IGNORANCE GOD WINKED AT; BUT NOW COMMANDETH ALL MEN EVERY WHERE TO REPENT:

2PE 3:9 ¶ THE LORD IS NOT SLACK CONCERNING HIS PROMISE, AS SOME MEN COUNT SLACKNESS; BUT IS LONGSUFFERING TO US-WARD, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE.

1PE 1:14 AS OBEDIENT CHILDREN, NOT FASHIONING YOURSELVES ACCORDING TO THE FORMER LUSTS IN YOUR IGNORANCE:

Since there is no perfection in the law, let us look up to Jesus Christ through whom we are made perfect and accept the Gospel so that we receive Eternal life which  is true life,

Joh 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him

1JO 5:20 AND WE KNOW THAT THE SON OF GOD IS COME, AND HATH GIVEN US AN UNDERSTANDING, THAT WE MAY KNOW HIM THAT IS TRUE, AND WE ARE IN HIM THAT IS TRUE, EVEN IN HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, AND ETERNAL LIFE

JOH 3:15 THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

1JO 5:11 AND THIS IS THE RECORD, THAT GOD HATH GIVEN TO US ETERNAL LIFE, AND THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON.

This is the will of God for all men because it is not His will that any man should perish. Why don’t we accept Jesus Christ who is the will of God for man.
